Last year after years of failed gardens, I hit the mother load. Tomatoes, beans, peas, carrots, peppers, flowers, herbs...... it was so easy and very rewarding. After the dogs and I returned inside I went to work choosing seeds for this years garden. I was getting giddy just thinking about what would go in each little square. Not wanting to be wasteful, I was trying to arrange my plantings based on recipes I like to make. That is when I stumbled upon this www.harvesteating.com/public/main.cfm
What a find. Harvest eating. Eat what you sow or grow or (purchase locally??)
Chef Snow has some cool recipes, clear videos and clever ways to make homemade easy. This site will inspire you to start the garden. I promise you will feel guilty making these recipes from produce purchased at the grocery store.
I watched the video on making homemade pasta. Now while I don't know if the hubby will let me raise my own chickens for the eggs, I will attempt to make it (for the noodles of ) the butternut squash lasagna I have been wanting to add to the Market part of Acorn Market. What will YOU be inspired to do?
